1. Categories of personal data we collect
We collect data you give us voluntarily, data we collect automatically, and, in some cases, data we receive from third parties.
1.1 Data you give us
You provide information about yourself when you create an account, take the personality assessment, and use the Service. This may include:
- Account and contact data: your name, email address, and password.
- Assessment data: your answers to the personality assessment questionnaire, and the personality profile, type, and related results we generate from those answers.
- In-app activity you create: your daily check-ins, journal notes, self-ratings, saved practices, program progress, and any other content or reflections you enter into the Service.
- Optional information you choose to share: for example, age or other details you may add to your profile.
- Communications: information you provide when you contact our support team.
Your assessment answers and the personality profile generated from them describe aspects of your character and self-perception. We treat this information with care and use it to provide and personalize the Service as described below.
1.2 Data we collect automatically
1.2.1 How you found us.
We collect data about your referring app or URL (the place on the web where you were when you tapped on our ad or link).
1.2.2 Device and location data.
Examples include: language settings, IP address, time zone, type and model of device, device settings, operating system, internet service provider, mobile carrier, and hardware identifiers.
1.2.3 Usage data.
We record how you interact with the Service, for example which features and content you use, how often and for how long you use the Service, and your subscription activity.
1.2.4 Advertising IDs.
When you access the Service from a mobile device, we may collect your Apple Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) or Google Advertising ID (AAID). You can typically reset these through your device's operating system settings.
1.2.5 Transaction data.
When you make payments through the Service (including any trial and recurring subscription), you provide financial account data, such as your card number, directly to our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. We may receive related transaction data, including the date, time, and amount of the transaction and the type of payment method used.
1.2.6 Cookies.
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain for a period of time), as well as similar technologies such as tracking pixels, to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and assist with analytics and advertising.
You can control cookies through our consent management tool. Where required, a consent banner appears on your first visit, and you can revisit your choices at any time via "Privacy Settings" in the footer of the Website.
2. For what purposes we process personal data
2.1 To provide our Service.
To create and maintain your account, deliver your personality profile and results, give you access to the membership content (your assessment, daily practices, growth program, and progress tracking), and prevent or address technical issues. To host your data and operate the Service, we use third-party cloud hosting and database providers.
2.2 To customize your experience.
We use your assessment results and in-app activity to tailor the content of the Service to you, for example to select the type-specific profile, daily practices, and growth program that match your results, and to track your progress over time.
2.3 To provide customer support.
We use your data to respond to your requests and to send you service-related communications, such as notices about performance, security, payment transactions, and changes to our Terms or this Privacy Policy.
2.4 To communicate with you about your use of the Service.
We may contact you by email or in-app message with information about the Service. The tools we use may record when a message was opened or interacted with. We use a third-party email delivery provider to send these messages.
2.5 To research and analyze use of the Service.
This helps us understand, maintain, improve, and develop the Service and test new features. We use third-party analytics providers for this purpose, which may place cookies on your device and provide us aggregated information about how the Service is used.
2.6 To send you marketing communications.
We may add your email to our marketing list and send you information about our products and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of our marketing emails.
2.7 To personalize our ads.
We and our advertising partners, including Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), may use your data to show you relevant ads and to measure ad performance, including through pixels and similar technologies placed on the Service. You can influence personalized advertising through your device settings, your browser's cookie settings, our consent management tool, and the opt-out resources below:

2.8 To process your payments.
We use a third-party payment processor to handle trial and subscription payments. We do not store or collect your full payment card details ourselves; that information is provided directly to our payment processor.
2.9 To enforce our Terms and prevent fraud.
We use personal data to enforce our agreements and to detect, prevent, and address fraud and unauthorized use of the Service.
2.10 To comply with legal obligations.
We may process or share your data when the law requires it.
3. Under what legal bases we process your personal data (applies only to EEA-based users)
3.1 Your consent.
We rely on consent to send you marketing communications (which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link) and to store or access information on your device via non-essential cookies and similar technologies (which you may withdraw via our consent management tool).
3.2 To perform our contract with you.
We rely on this basis to provide the Service, customize your experience, manage your account, provide support, communicate with you about your use of the Service, and process your payments.
3.3 For our (or others') legitimate interests.
Unless overridden by your interests or fundamental rights. We rely on legitimate interests to communicate with you about your use of the Service, to research and analyze use of the Service, to send marketing and personalize ads in a measured way, and to enforce our Terms and prevent fraud.
3.4 To comply with legal obligations.
4. With whom we share your personal data
We share information with third parties that help us operate, provide, improve, and market the Service:
4.1 Service providers
Including: cloud hosting and database providers; payment processors; analytics providers; marketing and advertising partners, including email delivery services, social networks, and ad platforms such as Google and Meta. We describe these purposes in Section 2.
4.2 Law enforcement and public authorities.
We may disclose personal data to enforce our Terms, protect our rights and the safety of others, and respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, and law enforcement.
4.3 In a corporate transaction.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, customer information may be among the transferred assets.
5. How you can exercise your privacy rights
You have the right to:
- Access, review, update, or correct your personal data, or request a copy of it, by emailing support@personality-profile.com.
- Delete your personal data by emailing support@personality-profile.com. When you request deletion, we will use reasonable efforts to honor it, subject to any data we must legally retain.
- Object to or restrict our use of your personal data by emailing support@personality-profile.com.
How to delete your account in the app:
- Open your account settings.
- Go to the Account page.
- Select "Delete account."
When you delete your account, you will lose access to your profile, results, progress, and history. We may retain certain data where required to meet legal obligations. Any refund of a subscription or purchase is governed by our Terms and Conditions.
Additional rights for EEA-based users: you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority, and you may request your data in a portable, machine-readable format by emailing support@personality-profile.com.
6. Age limitation
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. (In the EEA, we do not knowingly process the data of anyone below the age required for valid consent in their country, which is at least 16.) If you believe someone under these ages has provided us personal data, please contact support@personality-profile.com and we will delete it.
7. International data transfers
We may transfer personal data to countries other than the one in which it was collected in order to provide the Service. Where we transfer personal data originating from the EEA to a country that does not provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards, in particular Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or a European Commission adequacy decision.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other available means. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Privacy Policy.
9. California privacy rights
The CCPA gives California residents the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share; the right to request deletion; the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Sections 1, 2, and 4 describe the information we collect, why, and with whom we share it. To exercise these rights, email support@personality-profile.com. You may use an authorized agent, subject to verification.
10. Canadian privacy rights
For users in Canada, we handle personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws including Alberta's PIPA. You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). To exercise these rights, contact support@personality-profile.com. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
11. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and for the purposes set out in this Policy, including for the period you maintain an account, and as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
12. How "Do Not Track" requests are handled
Because no common "Do Not Track" (DNT) standard has been adopted, we currently do not respond to DNT browser signals. Third-party services may collect information about your activity over time and across services and may not honor DNT signals; please review their privacy policies.
